Handling Buyer Offers

When a buyer submits an offer, you have full control over the negotiation.

Offer Status Reference

| Status | Meaning | |--------|---------| | Pending | Awaiting your response | | Countered | You proposed a different price | | Accepted | Deal agreed — awaiting escrow | | In Escrow | Buyer payment secured, transfer pending | | Completed | Transfer done, payout released | | Declined | You rejected the offer | | Expired | No response within 7 days |

Offers expire after 7 days without response. Expired offers lower your seller response rate metric, which affects listing visibility.
