Path-to-Ownership

Own a Premium Domain With 1% Path-to-Ownership

When a listing offers the 1% Path-to-Ownership, you pay about 1% of the published acquisition price each month for 100 payments — zero down and no financing fee. The first installment is collected at checkout; later payments are due monthly through your GlobNIC lease account. Other zero-fee terms are also available. Annual domain renewal stays separate.

1% is a monthly share of the published acquisition price, not an interest rate. The total acquisition price stays the same.

How 1% Path-to-Ownership works

  1. Step 1

    Choose an eligible listed domain

Open a listing with a published buy-now price. globNIC shows only the payment plans that listing actually authorizes.

  2. Step 2

Pay the first installment at checkout

On 1% Path, that first payment is about 1% of the published price. Remaining payments are due monthly through your GlobNIC lease account — not a claim that Stripe or PayPal auto-billing is already configured.

  3. Step 3

Own it after the final payment

You use the domain under the lease until the agreement is paid in full. Ownership transfers after the last payment.

Eligibility, totals, renewal, and timing

  • Eligible listed domains with a published buy-now price. The live quote — not this page — decides which plans appear.
  • Total payable equals the published acquisition price on current zero-fee plans. There is no financing fee.
  • Annual domain renewal is billed separately and is never folded into the monthly acquisition payment.
  • Late payments: 7-day grace period. An agreement may be defaulted after 30 days past due.
  • Ownership transfers after the final payment. Until then you use the domain under the GlobNIC lease.
  • First installment at checkout; later payments are due monthly through your GlobNIC lease account. Automatic provider charging is not enabled.

How Path-to-Ownership works

Choose a listed domain with a published buy-now price. globNIC shows every payment plan the listing actually authorizes. The 1% Path-to-Ownership, when offered, is 100 equal payments with no financing fee. Shorter zero-fee plans are listed as other terms. You own the domain once the agreement is paid in full.

What you pay — and what you do not

There is no down payment and no financing fee on current plans. The monthly figure is computed from the published acquisition price. Checkout collects the first installment. Remaining payments are due monthly and managed through your GlobNIC lease account — this is a monthly payment plan, not a claim that provider auto-billing is already configured. You can pay the remaining balance early when the listing authorizes an early-payoff discount. Domain renewal is an annual registrar cost, billed separately.

Who authorizes the terms

Platform-owned inventory is authorized by globNIC. Third-party listings disclose the seller's Path-to-Ownership controls, including the maximum term and any early-payoff discount. Checkout always uses the live financing quote, never a browser-calculated price.

Path-to-Ownership questions

What is globNIC Path-to-Ownership?

Path-to-Ownership lets you acquire an eligible listed domain with monthly payments instead of paying the full price up front. Current plans are zero down and zero financing fee. The 1% Path-to-Ownership — 100 payments at about 1% of the price — appears only when that plan is actually offered for the listing. The first installment is collected at checkout; later payments are due monthly through your GlobNIC lease account.

Is 1% an interest rate?

No. 1% is a monthly share of the published acquisition price, not an interest rate. Current plans add no financing fee, so the total acquisition price stays the same.

Is there a financing fee?

No. Current globNIC payment plans add no financing fee. You pay the published acquisition price across the selected term. Annual domain renewal is billed separately.

What happens if a monthly payment is late?

Late payments: 7-day grace period. An agreement may be defaulted after 30 days past due.

When do I own the domain?

Ownership transfers after the final payment. Until then you use the domain under the GlobNIC lease.

Can I pay off the domain early?

Yes. You can pay the remaining acquisition balance at any time. If the listing authorizes an early-payoff discount, that discount is applied to the remaining balance.
